Story about the birth of prophet Muhammad SAW

Prophet Muhammad was born in the village of Bani Hashim in the city of Mecca, on Monday morning, the 12th of Rabiul Awal in the Year of the Elephant, corresponding to April 22, 571 AD. His father’s name was Abdullah and his mother’s name was Aminah. When she gave birth to him, Aminah was assisted by Syifa bint Amr, the mother of Abdurrahman bin Auf. Aminah then sent a messenger to her father-in-law, Abdul Muthalib, to inform him of the happy news of his grandson’s birth. Abdul Muthalib came with joy and happiness. Abdul Muthalib then took the baby into the Kaaba, gave thanks to Allah and prayed for his well-being, then named him Muhammad (the praised one) with the hope that his grandson would become a praised person. Abdul Muthalib also held an aqiqah on the seventh day and fed the people as was customary among the Arabs.
During his childhood, Muhammad was raised by Ummu Aiman Barakatul Habasyiyah, his father’s former slave. After Muhammad was sent as a messenger, Ummu Aiman also converted to Islam and participated in the hijrah. This woman died 5 or 6 months after the Prophet died. Muhammad was the most noble of Allah’s creatures, the imam of the messengers, and the seal of the prophets. His complete lineage is Muhammad Ibn Abdullah bin Abdul Muthalib bin Hashim bin Abdu Manaf bin Qushai bin Kilab bin Murrah bin Ka’ab bin Luay bin Ghalib bin Fihr bin Malik bin Nadhar bin Kinanah bin Khuzaimah bin Mudrikah bin Ilyas bin Mudhar bin Nizar bin Ma’ad bin Adnan. Adnan was a descendant of Prophet Ishmael, son of Abraham.
The mother of Prophet Muhammad was Aminah bint Wahab bin Abdu Manaf bin Zuhrah bin Kilab. Kilab was the fifth grandfather of the Prophet on his father’s side. Thus, his father and mother came from the same lineage that converged at Kilab bin Murrah. Some say that Kilab’s real name was Urwah, while others say it was Hakim.
– The tribe of the Prophet Muhammad
Muhammad came from the tribe of Quraish. This tribe was famous for its nobility, high status, and noble blood among other Arab tribes. Quraish was the nickname of Fihir bin Malik.
Everyone who came from this tribe became a prominent and respected figure in their time. The most distinguished among them was Qushai bin Kilab, whose real name was Zaid. Among his distinctions were the following:
Qushai was the first person from the Quraish tribe to be given the authority to manage the Ka’bah.
• Qushai was the one who brought the Quraish to live and settle in the center of Mecca. Previously, they lived on the outskirts of the city and were scattered in several places.
• Qushai was the one who pioneered the activities of as-siqayah (providing drinks for pilgrims) and ar-rifadah (providing food for pilgrims).
• Qushai built a building north of the Kaaba, known as Darun Nadwah, which was a meeting place for the Quraish and the headquarters of their social movement, among other things, to eradicate injustice and resolve disputes.
• Qushai was the leader of the Quraish tribe. When war broke out, the army’s banners would only be raised at his command. • Qushai was a generous and intelligent man; his words were like laws that were followed and had a great influence on his people.
– The Family of the Prophet Muhammad
Muhammad’s family was known as Bani Hashim, named after his second grandfather, Hashim. Hashim truly inherited a number of positions and virtues possessed by Qushai, such as:
• As-siqayah and ar-rifadah. Through Hashim, the Quraish tribe continued to carry out these traditions from generation to generation until the arrival of Islam.
• Hasyim was a great figure in his time. He used to pound bread with meat and then process it into tsarid, which he would then invite people to eat. This habit earned him the nickname Hasyim (the bread pounder), even though his real name was Amru.
• Hasyim pioneered two trade routes, namely the winter journey to Yemen and the summer journey to Sham.
It is said that Hasyim once stopped in the city of Yathrib (Medina) during his trade expedition to Sham. In Yathrib, he met and married Salma bint Amru from the Bani Adi bin Najjar tribe, then lived with her for some time. After that, he continued his trade journey to Sham, while Salma was pregnant. By Allah’s will, Hasyim died in the Gaza area, Palestine. Meanwhile, after her husband’s death, Salma gave birth to a boy in Medina who was named Shaybah (the gray-haired) because he had gray hair on his head. As time passed, the child grew up among his uncles (on his mother’s side among the Bani Najjar) in Medina. Meanwhile, his uncles (on his father’s side) who were in the city of Mecca did not know of his existence.
When Shaybah was 7 or 8 years old, one of his uncles, al-Muthali
